ETHICS AS A SERVICE

A New Category of Business Infrastructure

In 2021, researchers at the Oxford Internet Institute coined the term Ethics as a Service — arguing that ethical AI could not be achieved through guidelines alone, but required a structural, operational layer embedded into every AI system continuously. Eve was built to be exactly that: the first commercial platform to make EaaS real for every organization, at every scale.

01

Every Output, Evaluated

Eve reviews AI outputs from any system before they reach people. Flagged outputs require human review.

02

Humans Decide. Always.

Eve escalates. She never decides. Every governance concern surfaces to a human reviewer with full context.

03

Everything Is Logged.

Every evaluation, every review, every override. An immutable audit trail that protects your organization.

Terms of Service

Version 1.0 · Effective June 2026 · Governing Law: Province of Ontario, Canada · Issued by Eve Governance Platform

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Eve Governance Platform website and related marketing pages at eve-gov.ai and ethicsasaservice.ai. By accessing the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you create an account or use paid features, you are also bound by our Governance Terms and AI Ethics Policy, which govern your use of the Eve service itself.

1. The Platform

The Eve Governance Platform is operated by Sentinel Corp, a corporation incorporated under the laws of Canada. Eve provides Ethics as a Service (EaaS) — AI output evaluation, governance escalation, and audit infrastructure for organizations. These website Terms apply to public pages, account registration flows, and general use of eve-gov.ai. Service-specific terms for authenticated customers are set out in the Governance Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and have authority to enter into binding agreements on behalf of yourself or your organization. You may not use the Platform if you are prohibited from doing so under applicable law.

3. Accounts

When you register for an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@eve-gov.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Platform to violate law, infringe rights, transmit malware, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or overload our systems, or submit content that is illegal or that you lack authority to evaluate. Eve's evaluation pipeline includes safeguards for protected health information and other sensitive categories — do not attempt to circumvent those controls.

5. Subscriptions and Payment

Paid tiers are billed through Stripe. Fees, renewal terms, and cancellation are presented at checkout and in your account settings. We may change pricing with notice as required by applicable law. Free-tier limits apply as described on the pricing page.

6. Intellectual Property

The Eve Governance Platform, including its design, doctrine corpus integration, evaluation architecture, and branding, is owned by Eve or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Platform according to your subscription tier and the Governance Terms. You retain ownership of content you submit for evaluation.

7. Disclaimers

Eve provides governance evaluation and escalation tools — not legal, medical, or professional advice. Verdicts are recommendations for human review under the Milgram Constraint; humans decide on consequential outcomes. The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Eve shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability arising from these Terms or your use of the public website shall not exceed the greater of one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100) or the amounts you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be brought in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

10. Changes and Contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Questions about these Terms may be directed to hello@eve-gov.ai or counsel@eve-gov.ai.
