Version 1.0 · Effective June 2026 · Eve Governance Platform · Canada Central data residency
Sentinel Corp ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Eve Governance Platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information when you visit eve-gov.ai, create an account, or use our services. We process data in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy legislation, including PIPEDA.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: name, work email, organization name, industry vertical, jurisdiction, billing details processed by Stripe, and governance acknowledgement records. We collect technical information automatically: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and usage logs for security and service operation.
When you use Eve's evaluation features, you submit AI outputs and related context for governance review. That content is stored in your organization's isolated client environment in Azure Canada Central. We do not use your evaluation content to train third-party AI models.
2. How We Use Information
We use personal information to provide and improve the Platform, authenticate users, process subscriptions, deliver email notifications (authentication, governance alerts, product updates), maintain audit trails, enforce our terms, and meet legal obligations. Evaluation content is used solely to produce governance verdicts, escalations, and reports for your organization.
3. Data Storage and Security
Primary infrastructure — including Cosmos DB, Key Vault, and App Service — is hosted in Microsoft Azure Canada Central. Secrets are stored in Azure Key Vault, not in application code or environment files in our repository. Every governance verdict is protected by a cryptographic seal (SHA-256 hash). We apply access controls, encryption in transit, and client data isolation across the Platform.
4. Data Retention
Account and governance records are retained for the duration of your subscription and as required for audit and legal purposes. Platform evaluation data is subject to a 30-day retention window unless your tier or agreement specifies otherwise. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting hello@eve-gov.ai.
5. What We Do Not Collect
Eve does not collect or store the identities of individuals whose communications or work products are being evaluated unless your organization explicitly includes that information in submitted content. We do not sell personal information. We do not use evaluation content for advertising or unrelated profiling.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. Canadian residents may contact us to exercise rights under PIPEDA. We will respond to verified requests within applicable timeframes.
7. Third-Party Services
8. International Data Transfers
Your primary data is stored in Canada. Certain processing necessarily involves cross-border transfer — notably, AI evaluation requests are sent to Anthropic's API (United States) for inference. Email delivery via Resend and payment processing via Stripe may also involve processing outside Canada. We disclose these paths in our client documentation and recommend regulated organizations ensure their data processing agreements cover these egress routes.
9. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
